The dromaji of Dragon Nest believe that the soul is comprised of two parts: the ezakra, or the civil face one puts on in society; and dromaj, the feral instinct that beats within the heart of every living being. When these two parts reach harmony, it is called “ampar,” and those who reach ampar are revered and worshiped as the Ampari.

This week’s Dragon Nest update, Catastrophe, takes the player back to Lotus Marsh to explore the sacred Path of Ampar. This holy land has been seized by Dragon Cult forces, and it’s up to the player to send them packing and get some sweet revenge against their leader. This patch also brings a new Abyss challenge dungeon, a new way to enhance your gear, and, of course, new events for the holiday. This is a great time to go back to Dragon Nest and catch up on the story–and if you’ve never played before, there’s a new server to explore for the very first time!
