Orion Al-Shamma-Jones

Dragon Nest’s latest update was a long time coming, but I think it was worth the wait. This week, we increased the level cap to 50 and added new skills, and even more importantly (well, in my opinion), we added a new town, new characters, and a bunch more story.

The town of Lotus Marsh was established as an outpost of King Pether, the ruler whose kingdom formed the foundation for the modern nations of Altera. The native dromaji people weren’t too happy with this, but in the centuries since they’ve gotten used to the human presence–for the most part. Pockets of resistance still exist deep in the swamps, and the Dragon Cultists (those cultists are bad dudes, for those unfamiliar with Dragon Nest’s background) are more than happy to stir up racial tension.

This patch was a real pleasure to work on, and I hope the Dragon Nest community has as much fun playing it as we had writing it!
